Hotfix 1.0.2 · Sep 30, 2026 · all platforms · official build notes on Steam.

The Headline Fixes

  • Major co-op fixes: Quickplay, joining games, progression, dealing damage and parrying, plus issues that could leave players stuck.
  • More save and progression fixes, including progress incorrectly carrying between save files and safer save overwriting.
  • Lore Scrolls can now be collected in co-op, which previously blocked the second player from related quests.
  • Clear the Area objectives are more reliable, with fixes for enemies failing to spawn or reach you.
  • Numerous locations fixed where players could get stuck in the environment or fall through the world.

Boons, Weapon Arts and Status Effects

The update includes many fixes for Boons and Weapon Arts. Boons named in the official highlights: Angelic Bulwark, Brewmaster, Aftershock Technique, Avenging Pestilence, Shield of Many, Pyromancer and Impaling Throw, among others. Status effect information is now clearer for Rage, Poisoned, Freeze, Marked and Sundered — see the status effects page for what each does.

Quality of Life and Platforms

  • Improved downed and revive experiences in co-op.
  • More crash and performance fixes across PC and consoles, including multiple levels and boss encounters.
  • Steam Deck improvements: controls, UI readability, combat desync and performance.
  • More camera and lock-on fixes, including rolling attacks and encounters with Egregore and Demon Brute.
  • Loot and Gold pickup improvements: a fix for dropped items bunching together and a new setting for auto-pickup of Gold.
  • Many more fixes across quests, UI, localisation, audio, cinematics, enemies, bosses and the world.

Saves: What Changed and What Remains

Save and progression loss stays one of the team's highest priorities. 1.0.2 contains a number of important save fixes designed to make saves more stable and secure. Official notes also state that a few complex issues remain, mostly when moving between devices, and that Patch 1.1 plans a more substantial rework of how saves are handled.

Until then the official advice is: play on a single device where possible, avoid switching devices with the same save, and on PC consider a local save backup as extra insurance. Details in the progression loss guide.

What Comes Next

Patch 1.1 is planned for October with the save rework, gear and Blacksmith improvements, clearer gear and Boon information, better run progression visibility, more control remapping and additional co-op improvements. A free content update has also been announced without a date. Track both on the roadmap page.
